IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme，國際文憑大學預科課程)，由1968年成立於瑞士日內瓦的IBO組織管理、設計IB課程，備受世界各大學認可，也可以稱為「國際大學高考」。課程分配在六個基礎領域裡，依次從語言與文化、第二語言、個體與社會、科學、數學、藝術六大類裡，選擇6門為期兩年的課程。IBDP課程分為標準課程 (SL / Standard Level)和高難度課程 (HL / Higher Level)。IB六門課中至少有三門是HL，每門課最高為7分。除了對學生的課業要求外，選擇IB Diploma的學生還要在兩年內完成150個小時的CAS活動 (Creativity, Activity and Service, 創造、活動與服務)。IBDP滿分為45分，國際名校收生標準一般為40分或以上。
IB學習模式更全面考核學生的文理綜合水準，側重培養學生跨學科思考的能力，接近大學學習模式。由於IB要求學生具備大量閱讀和寫作論文的能力，因而學生本身英語能力優秀方能學好知識，是非常具挑戰性的國際課程及考核。
